The German Bildungsroman. The Comparative Analysis of the Two Selected Works of Literature - Der grüne Heinrich and Peter Camenzind

Abstract:

This work compares two novels of development Der grüne Heinrich by Gottfried Keller and Peter Camenzind by Hermann Hesse in particular, and it proves, by the enumeration of the parallels between them, their resemblance. Further, it compares both of the above mentioned novels of development with the lives of their authors and it gives us the proof about the fact, that both the novels involve autobiographical features.

Abstract:

Tato práce srovnává především dva vývojové romány Der grüne Heinrich od Gottfrieda Kellera a Peter Camenzind od Hermanna Hesseho mezi sebou a výčtem paralel mezi nimi dokazuje jejich podobnost. Dále srovnává oba výše uvedené vývojové romány s životy jejich autorů a poskytuje důkazy o tom, že se jedná o romány s autobiografickými prvky.
