Abstract:
The objective of this bachelor thesis was to describe Falklands conflict, its causes and consequences. The work consists of two parts. In the first part I focus on the history of islands, their discovery, the political situation in Argentina and the United Kingdom and events that preceded the war in 1982. Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo popsat konflikt na Falklandských ostrovech, jeho příčiny a následky. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. V první části se zabývám historií ostrovů, jejich objevením, politickou situací v Argentině a Velké Británii a událostmi, které předcházely válce v roce 1982. Ve druhé části se zabývám válkou o Falklandy, jejími následky a vztahy mezi Argentinou a Velkou Británií.
