The aim of this diploma thesis is a description and analysis of the PKK/KCK insurgency in Turkey during 2015-2016 according to the analytical framework by Bard. E. O`Neill. Zámerom diplomovej práce je popis a analýza povstania PKK/KCK v Turecku počas rokov 2015-2016 prostredníctvom analytického rámca predstaveného Bardom E. O'Neillom. V úvodnej časti je predstavená metodológia práce, uvedený analytický rámec a tiež základné kľúčové pojmy, s ktorými autor pracuje: povstanie, terorizmus, guerrilla a mestská guerrilla.
