Psychological Issues of Medical Care and Satisfaction of Mothers with it During the Pregnancy and Around the Period of the Labour

Abstract:

In this study we are dealing with psychological issues of medical care and satisfaction of mothers with it during the pregnancy, labour and the period after it. In the theoretical part, we are shortly mentioning the history of obstetrics, the process of labour and we are describing the system of antenatal care. Furthermore we are considering the option of different ways of giving birth, the place for labour, the accompanist during the labour and the ways of relieving the pain. We are also mentioning the possible complication that can occur during the whole process, about the beginning of life for a child and as well about possible threats in early motherhood. The aim of our research was to map the satisfaction of mothers with medical care during the pregnancy, labour and the period after it. According to the data obtained by the questionnaire we can say that mother are quite satisfied with prenatal and perinatal care, and less satisfied with postnatal care. Anyway, there are lots of issues to be improved in all mentioned periods

Abstract:

V tejto práci sa zaoberáme psychologickou problematikou zdravotníckej starostlivosti a spokojnosti matiek s ňou počas tehotenstva, pôrodu i v období po ňom. V teoretickej časti sa krátko venujeme histórii pôrodníctva, priebehu pôrodu a popisujeme systém prenatálnej starostlivosti. Ďalej sa zameriavame na možnosti vedenia pôrodu, miesta pre pôrod, spoločnosti pri pôrode a metódy tíšenia bolesti. Zmienime sa aj o komplikáciách, ktoré môžu pri pôrode nastať a o začiatkoch života dieťaťa i možných nástrahách v počiatkoch materstva. Za cieľ výskumnej časti práce sme si stanovili zmapovať spokojnosť matiek so zdravotníckou starostlivosťou počas tehotenstva, pôrodu a v popôrodnom období. Podľa dát získaných dotazníkom sú matky vcelku spokojné s prenatálnou a perinatálnou starostlivosťou, menej už so starostlivosťou po pôrode. Vo všetkých oblastiach je však čo zlepšovať
