Behavior of Millennium Generation in Accommodation Services

Abstract:

The Diploma Thesis deals with the Millennium Generation with its consumer behavior. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and establish the Millennium Generation demand for accommodation services and to analyze the Millennium Generation's awareness of new trends and then to propose a new hotel concept for the Millennium Generation. In the theoretical part, consumer behavior, consumer behavior, purchasing behavior, and factors influencing consumers are generally dealt with. In the second analytical part, three surveys were carried out, namely the collection of statistical data on the territory of Slovakia and the Czech Republic on the Millennium Generation, pilot questionnaires followed by questionnaires which were devoted to the Millennial Generation of Slovak, Czech and other EU countries, focused on how they choose their stay , how often they travel what they are influencing, whether they have experienced any innovations and trends during their stay. Subsequently, interviews with 4 accommodation facilities were carried out to perceive the millennial generation and adapt it. Subsequently, I have evaluated the data I obtained and proposed in the third design part the reconstruction of an existing hotel, only in design. A more precise change to the hotel concept for the millennium generation, where the hotel will provide what most of the generations require. Where the hotel will use new technologies such as mobile apps and tablets.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá miléniovou generáciou jej spotrebiteľským správaním. Cieľom práce je analyzovať a zistiť dopyt miléniovej generácie po službách v ubytovacích zariadeniach a zanalyzovať informovanosť miléniovej generácie o nových trendoch a následne navrhnúť nový koncept hotela určený pre miléniovú generáciu. V teoretickej časti bolo rozobraté všeobecne spotrebiteľské správanie, spotrebiteľ, nákupné správanie a faktory, ktoré spotrebiteľa ovplyvňujú. V druhej analytickej časti boli urobené 3 výskumy a to, zber štatistických dát na území Slovenska a Českej republiky o miléniovej generácii, pilotné dotazníky následne dotazníky, ktoré boli venované miléniovej generácii Slovenskej, Českej a ostatným krajinám EU, zamerané na to, ako si vyberajú pobyt, ako často cestujú čo ich ovplyvňuje, či zažili počas pobytov nejaké inovácie a trendy. Následne boli vykonané rozhovori so 4 ubytovacími zariadeniami, ako tieto zariadenia vnímajú miléniovú generáciu a či sa jej prispôsobujú. Následne som získané dáta vyhodnotila a navrhla som v tretej návrhovej časti rekonštrukciu existujúceho hotela, len v dizajne. Presnejšie zmenu hotelového konceptu pre miléniovú generáciu, kde hotel bude poskytovať to čo daná generácia najviac požaduje. Kde hotel bude využívať nové technológie ako mobilné aplikácie a tabletu.
