Position and potential of agritourism in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou postavení a potenciálu agroturistiky v České republice a přináší projekt na založení vlastní agrofarmy na fungující zemědělské farmě s vypracováním podnikatelského plánu. Teoretická část se věnuje teoretickým východiskům a analýze venkovského cestovního ruchu a agroturistiky v České republice. Zaměřuje se především na definice cestovního ruchu a charakteristiku venkovského cestovního ruchu a agroturistiky. Praktická část představuje přehled agrofarem s popisem jejich činnosti a specifik. Součástí této části je i zpracování dotazníkového šetření. Poslední částí práce je vlastní projekt na založení agrofarmy s podnikatelským plánem obsahujícím obchodní a marketingovou strategii, realizační plán a finanční plán. Cílem práce je analyzovat potenciál a postavení agroturistiky v České republice s ohledem na rozvoj cestovního ruchu a uvést vlastní projekt agrofarmy s podnikatelským plánem na její založení. Tato diplomová práce by měla seznámit se současným stavem agroturistiky v České republice, rozšířit povědomí o dané problematice a představit vlastní projekt.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the position and the potential of agritourism in the Czech Republic and offers a project to establish own agrifarm at functioning agricultural farm with business plan. The theoretical part concerns theoretical background and analysis of rural tourism and agritourism in the Czech Republic. It focuses mainly on the definition of the tourism and characteristics of rural tourism and agritourism. The practical part presents overview of agrifarms with description of their activities and specifics. One of the elements of this part is processing of the research. The last part of the thesis is a project for establishment of agrifarm with business plan containing business and marketing strategy, implementation plan and financial plan. The aim is to assess the potential and position of agritourism in the Czech Republic considering the development of the tourism and introducing agrifarm project with business plan. The thesis should make readers acquainted with the current state of agritourism in the Czech Republic and broaden the awareness about the issue. The thesis should also present project.
