Abstract:
Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vplyvom troch odlišných prvkov gotického románu na chod udalostí v románe Búrlivé Výšiny od Emily Brontëovej. Tieto prvky určujú smer udalostí príbehu a zahŕňajú morálne pochybného hrdinu-zloducha, použitie násilia a nadpozemské javy.Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the influence of three distinct elements of the Gothic novel on the flow of events in the novel Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. These elements include the morally-ambiguous villain-hero, the use of violence in the story and the supernatural occurrences, all of which determine the direction of the events in the novel.
