Supplementation of Progesterone in Assisted Reproduction

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá suplementací progesteronu v asistované reprodukci. V teoretické části definuje pojmy jako je neplodnost, její dělení, příčiny a možnosti léčby, dále asistovanou reprodukci, která je zároveň nejrozsáhlejší kapitolou a přibližuje dostupné metody asistované reprodukce, s nimi související rizika a preimplantační diagnostiku. Třetí a zároveň poslední kapitola se věnuje hormonu progesteronu, což je nejvýznamnější lidský gestagen a má nepostradatelný vliv na přípravu a udržení těhotenství. Jeho suplementace při IVF cyklu je přímo nezbytná. Praktická část přináší vyhodnocení a výsledky výzkumného šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit míru spokojenosti pacientek s danými progesteronovými preparáty a srovnává jejich efekt na vznik a udržení těhotenství a dále přináší řízené rozhovory s 20 pacientkami, kterými jsme zjišťovali vliv preparátů na výskyt těhotenských obtíží.

Abstract:

The work deals with suplementation of progesterone in assisted reproduction. The theoretical part defines terms such as infertility, division, causes and treatment options, also assisted reproduction, which is also the largest chapter and approaches methods of assisted reproduction, available risks and preimplantation diagnosis. Third and last chapter is devoted to the hormone progesterone, which is the most important human progestogen and has essential influence on the preparation and maintenance of pregnancy. His supplementation in IVF cycle is directly necessary. The practical part presents the evaluation and results of the research aimed to determine the degree of satisfaction of patients given progesterone preparations and compares their effect on the creation and maintenance of pregnancy and also brings interviews with 20 patients, through which we investigated the influence of preparations on the occurrence of pregnancy difficulties.
