Educational styles of parents which have children with specific educational needs

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zkoumat výchovné přístupy rodičů, mající děti se specifickými vzdělávacími potřebami. Konkrétně se jedná o rodiče dětí nadaných, dyslektických a nadaných dyslektiků. Výzkumným nástrojem byl Paretn child relationship inventory, který byl v České republice použit poprvé. Je složen ze 7 obsahových škál. Jedná se o škály Podpory, Spokojenosti, Zapojení se, Komunikace, Stanovení hranic, Autonomie, Orientace na role. Předpokládáme diskrepance ve výchovných přístupech a předstávách o rodičovské roli mezi jednotlivými kategoriemi rodičů.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is the comparison of parents educational aprroach, which have children with some specific educational needs. Mainly parents of gifted children, parents of learning disable children and parents of gifted children with learning disabilities. To expore the phenomen, we used Parent child relationship inventory, which has been used in Czech republic for the first time. This inventory has seven content scale. There are Support scale, Satisfaction scale, Involvement scale, Communication scale, Limit setting scale, Autonomy scale and Role orientation scale. We suppose a variation in eduational approach and in perception of parents role between each category of parents.
