The Theme of Solitude and Illusion in the Plays of Edward Albee
Abstract:
Edward Albee concentrated in his plays on several dominant themes, two of them being solitude and illusion. This thesis shows the relationship between these two major concerns and explores how the playwright reflects contemporary existentialist issues.
