Bakalářská práce charakterizuje vznik samostatného státu Izrael (1948). Práce se věnuje především sionismu jako proudu, který sjednotil velkou část židovské populace. Sionistické hnutí provází celou bakalářskou práci. Představuje ideologické směry hlavních vůdců sionistického hnutí, zabývá se sionistickými kongresy. Abstract:
The work characterizes the establishment of Israel as a formal state in 1948. The work deals with the Zionist movement, its development and consequences. The work describes the main goals of the main leaders of the Zionism. It describes the first world war, the British mandate, the second world war up to the establishment of Israel.The work tries to outline the coexistence between Arabs and Jews.
