The issue of bicycle paths with the focus on the city of Decin

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tématem cyklostezek se zaměřením na město Děčín a jejich aktuálním stavem. Stěžejní cyklotrasou této bakalářské práce je páteřní cyklotrasa s označením KČT č. 2 protínající město Děčín a varianty jejího převedení, včetně cyklistické dopravy přes řeku Labe. Cílem práce je porovnání tří variant převedení vybrané cyklotrasy přes řeku Labe v Děčíně. V práci jsou popsány základní pojmy týkající se dané problematiky. Během zpracování byly využity dvě základní metody:prozkoumání projektových dokumentací a vlastní fyzické prozkoumání terénu včetně jeho dokumentace. Teoretická část je zaměřena na území okresu a města Děčína a dále se zaměřuje obecně na cyklistiku a cykloturistiku. V praktické části je rozpracováno vedení a značení cyklotras a zabývá se variantami vedení cyklotrasy KČT č. 2 přes Labe v Děčíně. Veliká pozornost je věnována variantě vedení cyklotrasy přes Tyršův most a variantě, která je v současnosti ve fázi zpracované projektové dokumentace. Jedná se stavbu lávky na železničním mostě s názvem "Lávka pro pěší a cyklisty na železničním mostě přes Labe" a "Lávka pro pěší a cyklisty na železničním mostě přes Ploučnici". Vzhledem k tomu, že není znám termín realizace stavby lávky na železničním mostě je v současné době prioritní vyřešit převedení cyklotrasy KČT č. 2 po Tyršově mostě. Bude-li v budoucnu lávka skutečně postavena, stane se tak ideálním řešením, kdy budou fungovat dvě možnosti pro pěší a cyklisty jak bezpečně překonat řeku Labe.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the current state of the cycle paths with the focus on the town of Decin.The main cycle path of this thesis is the backbone cycle path called KCT No. 2 intersecting Decin and the options of its continuation across the river Labe, including the cycle transport. The main objective of this thesis is to compare the three variants of bringing the cycle path across the river Labe. In the thesis, the main concepts pertaining to the issues are described. In the writing of the thesis I applied two basic methods researching the project documentation and a research on site including its documentation. The theoretical part focuses on the Decin region and the town of Decin and it further focuses on cycling and cyclo tourism. The network of the paths and their marking is elaborated in the practical part, which deals with the variants of bringing the KCT No. 2 cycle path across the Labe in Decin. Great attention is paid to the option where the path crosses the Tyrs Bridge and to the option that has been worked out in a project documentation. It is the construction of a footbridge on a railway bridge called "The Footbridge for the Pedestrians and Cyclists on a Railway Bridge across the Labe" and "The Footbridge for the Pedestrians and Cyclists on a Railway Bridge across the Ploucnice". Since the date of the footbridge construction on the railway bridge is not known, the priority now is to work out how to lead the cyclopath KCT No. 2 across the Tyrs Bridge. If the footbridge is build in the future, it will be the ideal solution with two save options for the pedestrians and the cyclists for their crossing of the river Labe.
