The development of the guilds in the Vyškov area with regard to the guilds of drapers and weavers

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské diplomové práce je studie jednotlivých cechů ve Vyškově s přihlédnutím na cech tkalců a soukeníků v rozmezí od 16. do poloviny 19. století. Vzájemným rozborem cechovních statut je vyzdvižena důležitost územní správy spočívající v moci olomoucké kapituly. Důraz je kladen na vládní zásahy do systému cechovních organizací, které započaly v první polovině 18. století generálními cechovními artikuly a skončily vydáním živnostenského řádu roku 1859, kdy se cechy oficiálně přeměnily na živnostenská společenstva. Svědectvím, že se cechovní zřízení zakořenilo do života prostých řemeslníků, je podrobná studie soukenického a tkalcovského cechu. Bakalářská práce tak podává nezvratný důkaz o důležitosti cechovních organizací na hospodářsko-politický systém zejména v rámci Habsburské monarchie.

Abstract:

The theme of the bachelor´s thesis is study of the particular guilds in Vyškov considering the guilds of drapers and weavers in the interval since 16. to the half of the 19. century. With the reciprocal analysis of the guild´s statuts is highlighted the territorial administration´s importance consisting in the power of the Olomouc´s chapter. The emphasis is laid on the governmental interventions into the guildssystem, which started in the first half of the 18. century by the general guild´s articles and ended by the trade rules edition in 1859, when the guilds officially turned into the trade communities. The detailed study of the guilds of drapers and weavers corroborates, that guilds were part of the life for the common wokrmen. The bachelor´s thesis produces the irrefutable evidence of the importance of the guilds fot the economic-political system within Habsburg monarchy.
