Inventory of woody plants in the selected part of the housing estate Petřiny and elaboration of the digital map of this selected area

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá inventarizací nejsevernější části sídliště Petřiny v Praze. Jejím cílem je vytvořit inventarizační tabulky, digitalizovanou mapu území a pořídit na území fotodokumentaci zdejších dřevin. Dále byly stanoveny tyto hypotézy. První hypotéza vycházející z přírodních podmínek území a rajonizace předpokládá výskyt doubravy, případně lipové doubravy na cílovém území. Druhá hypotéza se opírá o historický vývoj území. Z něho vyplývá, že výstavba na území probíhala především v 60. letech minulého století, z čehož vyplývá, že většina zdejší vegetace by měla být mladší šedesáti let.Inventarizace byla prováděna dle metodiky prof. Machovce, která byla mírně modifikována. Poloha dřevin na stanovišti byla pouze odhadována. Výška dřevin byla měřena výškoměrem, nebo odhadována. Místo průměru kmene byl měřen obvod. Šířka korun nebyla měřena, ale krokována, čímž mohlo dojít k menším odchylkám. Věk jedinců byl odhadován, stejně jako sadovnická hodnota (1 nejlepší jedinci, 5 nejhorší jedinci).Během inventarizace bylo zjištěno, že na cílovém území se nachází celkem 1072 inventarizovaných dřevin a 482 trvalek, tj. listnaté keře tvoří 34 % inventarizovaných položek trvalky 31 % inventarizovaných položek, ¼ všech položek tvoří listnaté stromy a jehličnanů je na území nejméně (10 % položek). Bylo inventarizováno 923 listnáčů a 149 jehličnanů. Z jehličnanů je na inventarizovaném území nejčastější Picea abies, z listnatých keřů růže záhonová a listnaté stromy jsou poměrně vyrovnané, více než 10 % jsou zastoupeny Tilia x europaea, Quercus robur, Carpinus betulus a Tilia cordata, žádný z těchto druhů však netvoří více než 15 % všech stromů.Inventarizace se zdařila. Obě hypotézy byly potvrzeny. Inventarizované dřeviny na území tvoří lipovou doubravu s velkým množstvím příměsí. Bylo zjištěno, že dřeviny jsou na území průběžně doplňovány již od dob založení sídliště a v současné době se na území nachází více než 50 % dřevin mladších 20 let. Dřeviny na území jsou v dobrém stavu (50 % dřevin spadá do kategorie 3 a 30 % dřevin do kategorie 2). Ze zjištěných informací byly vytvořeny inventarizační tabulky a digitalizovaná mapa území. Fotodokumentace v celém rozsahu byla umístěna na mapserver.

Abstract:

This batcherol thesis is concerned with the inventory of the northernest part of the housing estate Petřiny in Prague. The first goal of this thesis is elaboration of inventory tables, the digital map of the area and taking photos of the plants which are to be found in the area. Two hypotheses were made. Firstly, the natural condition and the raionization of the area indicate that mostly oaks or limes should grow there. Secondly, from historical research arises that the most of the building were built in 1960’s. From this we can assume that most of the trees and shrubs will be less than 60 years old. The inventory is based on methodology of prof. Machovec which was slightly modificated. The location of the plants was just estimated. Their height was measured by altimeter or estimated as well. Instead of the diameter of a tree trunk the circumference was measured. The width of the treetop was only stepped on, which may have resulted in gentle imprecisions. The age of woody plants was estimated, as well as orchard value of woody plants, which describes their quality (1 the best ones, 5 the worst ones). During the inventory it was found that in the selected area there are 1072 woody plants and 482 perennial plants, which means 34 % of the inventoried items are broad-leaved shrubs, 31 % are perrenial plants, ¼ of all items are broad-leaved trees and the fewest are conifers (10 % items). 923 broad-leaved woody plants and 149 conifers were found. The most frequent conifer in the selected area is Picea abies, the most frequent broad-leaved shrub is Rosa, and broad-leaved trees are quite ballanced, more than 10 % present Tilia x europaea, Quercus robur, Carpinus betulus and Tilia cordata but none of them makes more than 15 %.The inventory was succesful. Both hypothesis were confirmed. In the selected area there are mostly limes and oaks but there are a lot of other species as well. It was found out that woody plants have been continuously planted since the establishement of the housing estate, and nowadays there are more than 50 % of woody plants under 20 years old. Woody plants in the area are in good condition (50 % of them belong to category 3 and 30 % to category 2). Based on the information got by the inventory inventory tables and a digital map of the selected area were created. All photos of the woody plants were placed on mapserver.
