Project Proposal to Improve the Impact Hub Zlín Coworking Environment

Abstract:

Význam coworkingových prostor spočívá ve spolupráci, sdílení znalostí a podpoře tvorby inovací, což jsou klíčové faktory pro úspěch v současné a rychle měnící se ekonomice. Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvoření projektu ke zlepšení prostředí coworkingu Impact Hub Zlín. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy spojené se sdílenou ekonomikou, definicí coworkingu, jeho vývojem, komercializací a různými typy coworkingových prostor. Zabývá se významem wellbeingu a jeho rolí ve sdílení znalostí a významu v komunitě členů coworkingu. Poznatky z teoretické části slouží jako podklad pro část praktickou. Projekt vychází z analýzy současného stavu prostředí coworkingu, která na základě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s provozní ředitelkou coworkingu, nezainteresovaného pozorování v hlavním sdíleném prostoru coworkingu a poskytnutých sekundárních dat odhaluje rozvojové výzvy, které se následně promítají do projektové části. Na základě analýzy je navržen projekt, který je složen z několika dílčích cílů. Dílčí cíle se zaměřují na zavedení nástroje ke zlepšení procesu začlenění nových členů do coworkingového prostředí, implementaci nástroje ke zvýšení počtu pravidelně pracujících členů v hlavním sdíleném prostoru, zvýšení účasti členů na sportovních aktivitách a eventech AfterWork organizovaných coworkingem. Realizace stanovených klíčových činností má cíl zlepšit celkové prostředí coworkingu, jeho přínosy vůči komunitě členů a nepřímo tak podpořit tvorbu inovací a podnikatelské iniciativy.

Abstract:

The significance of coworking spaces lies in collaboration, knowledge sharing, and fostering innovation, which are key factors for success in today's rapidly changing economy. The aim of this thesis is to develop a project to improve the environment of the Impact Hub Zlín coworking space. The theoretical part defines key concepts related to the sharing economy, the definition of coworking, its development, commercialization, and various types of coworking spaces. It also addresses the importance of well-being, its role in knowledge sharing, and its significance within the coworking community. Insights from the theoretical part serve as a foundation for the practical part. The project is based on an analysis of the current state of the coworking environment, which, through semi-structured interviews with the operations manager of the coworking space, non-participant observation in the main shared coworking space, and provided secondary data, reveals development challenges that are subsequently reflected in the project part. Based on the analysis, a project consisting of several sub-goals is proposed. The sub-goals focus on implementing a tool to improve the onboarding process for new members into the coworking environment, increasing the number of members regularly working in the main shared space, and boosting member participation in sports activities and AfterWork events organized by the coworking space. The implementation of the defined key activities aims to improve the overall coworking environment, its benefits to the member community, and indirectly support innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives.
