Cryptocurrencies in International Business

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na kryptoměny jako nový platební instrument v mezinárodním podnikání. V teoretickém rámci je popsána historie a vývoj kryptoměn a technologie blockchainu. Dále jsou zkoumány charakteristiky kryptoměn jako platebního instrumentu a porovnání s tradičními finančními nástroji. V druhé části práce je provedena analýza využití kryptoměn v mezinárodním obchodě a jejich vlivu na mezinárodní finanční trhy. Je zkoumán legislativní a regulační rámec pro využití kryptoměn v mezinárodním obchodě a perspektivy vývoje tohoto rámce. Třetí část práce se zaměřuje na analýzu nákladů a podmínek mezinárodních transakcí v českých bankách a porovnání s využitím kryptoměn. Jsou zkoumány výhody a nevýhody jednotlivých bankovních produktů a provedena analýza provedených kryptoměnových transakcí. Cílem práce je poskytnout ucelený pohled na kryptoměny v mezinárodním podnikání a posoudit jejich perspektivy v tomto oboru.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on cryptocurrencies as a new payment instrument in international business. In the theoretical framework, the history and development of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are described. Furthermore, the characteristics of cryptocurrencies as a payment instrument are examined and compared with traditional financial instruments. In the second part of the thesis, an analysis is conducted on the use of cryptocurrencies in international trade and their impact on international financial markets. The legislative and regulatory framework for the use of cryptocurrencies in international trade and the prospects for the development of this framework are also examined. The third part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the costs and conditions of international transactions in Czech banks and compares them with the use of cryptocurrencies. The advantages and disadvantages of individual banking products are examined, and an analysis of the executed cryptocurrency transactions is conducted. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of cryptocurrencies in international business and assess their prospects in this field.
