Intervention of Social Workers in the Process of Youth's Departure from Children's Home

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a přiblížit intervenci sociálních pracovníků při odchodu mladých dospělých z dětského domova a samotný proces odchodu. Práce je rozdělena do celkem šesti kapitol a je pojata teoreticko-aplikačně. Prvních pět kapitol zahrnuje teoretickou část. V teoretické části je objasněna terminologie korespondující s tématem práce, a tedy metodami intervence v sociální práci a sociálních pracovníků při odchodu mladých dospělých z dětského domova, vymezení mladé dospělosti v kontextu ústavního zařízení a také proces odchodu z dětského domova. Poslední, šestá kapitola je věnována aplikační části. Cílem aplikační části je za pomocí komparace dvou kazuistik klientů popsat a analyzovat intervenci sociální pracovnice při odchodu mladých dospělých z dětského domova v konkrétních případech. Dílčím cílem je zachytit proces odchodu mladých dospělých vybraného dětského domova. Součástí aplikační části je zpracování analýzy problému z praxe, konkrétně pomocí komparace dvou kazuistik, kdy objektem kazuistik jsou klienti dětského domova.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis aims to describe and to clarify the intervention of social workers in the process of the young adults leaving children's homes and, at the same time, the process itself. The thesis is divided into six chapters and contains both theoretical and practical part. The first five chapters of the thesis include the theoretical part. This part explains terminology corresponding with the methods of intervention in social work and social workers during the youth's departure from children's home, moreover the terms concerning young adulthood in the context of the institutional facility and the process of departure from children's home. The last chapter is dedicated to the practical part. The practical part aims to describe and to analyse an intervention of social worker during young adults' departure from a children home in the concrete cases while using the method of comparative analysis of two cases. Partially, it also aims to capture the process of young adults' departure of a chosen children's home. One part of the practical part is a problem analysis - namely a comparative analysis of two clients of the children's home.
