Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá situací na scéně tradičních lidových písní z Yorkshiru v kontextu současné doby. Hlavní náplní práce je probudit zájem o opomíjenou část lidové tvorby tohoto Britského regionu a na analýze písní dokázat jejich místní sounáležitost. První kapitola se zabývá dějinami sběratelů lidové slovesnosti. Druhá kapitola se pojednává o problematice obecných faktorů de- finujících Yorkshirský region a připravuje tak půdu pro následnou analýzu. V analýze ve třetí části autor sepisuje veškeré reference, které potvrzují sounáležitost písní s regionem.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the situation at the scene of traditional folk songs in Yorkshire related to current situation. The fundamental aim of this thesis is to attract attention to a neglected part of the folk tradition in this particular British region and by analyzing its folk songs prove their connection. First chapter deals with the history of folk song collectors in general. Second chapter describes Yorkshire environment and its background effects to prepare ground for the song analysis. In the third part, author collects all infor- mation which confirms the song relations to their region.
