Master's thesis

The design of the condensate piping line of the steam turbine 65MW from the condenser and DWH through LP regeneration to the feed water tank including dimensioning pumps and necessary stress and flow calculations.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na návrh potrubní trasy kondenzátu z kondenzátoru turbíny a OTV přes NT regeneraci do Napájecí nádrže kotle. Hlavně na její pevnostní výpočty a výpočty proudění. Pevnostní výpočet je prováděn kvůli správnému návrhu rozmístění závěsů a uložení na potrubí hlavní trasy kondenzátu. Dále je počítána tloušťka stěn těchto hlavních částí potrubí. Dimenzování čerpadel a regulačního ventilu na hlavní trase kondenzátu je navrženo v závislosti na tlakových ztrátách a hydrostatických tlacích v potrubí. V diplomové práci je řešen i přechodový stav při výpadku turbíny, kdy do OTV přestane proudit odběrová pára, čímž klesá teplota ve výměníku. Tím klesá tlak v OTV a dochází ke kavitaci čerpadla. Hlavním cílem práce je určení polohy závěsů a podpěr potrubí, kontrola návrhu čerpadel a regulačního ventilu. Dále je ukázán průběh parametrů tlaku při výpadku čerpadla a navržen způsob ochrany čerpadla před kavitací.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the design of the condensate pipeline from the condenser and DWH through the LP regeneration to the feed water tank. Main attention is paid to the stress and flow calculations. Stress calculation is necessary, because of correct design of hangers and restrains placements on the main condensate pipeline. Pumps and control valve on this pipeline are designed with respect to the pressure losses and hydrostatic pressures in the pipes. When turbine loss load, extraction steam does not flow to DWH and pressure drops. This transition state cause cavitation in suction of the pumps. The main objectives of this thesis are design of piping supports, pumps and control valve. As well as overal design of the system to avoid cavitation.
