Inspiring teacher in literature and media

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá inspirativního učitele v literatuře a v médiích. Skládá se z teoretické a praktické části. První kapitola teoretické části se zabývá postavou učitele a s ní spojenými rolemi a kompetencemi. Nahlíží zvláště na proměnu rolí a důležitost vymezení kompetencí učitele. Druhá kapitola zkoumá osobnost učitele a to, jak jeho osobnost může ovlivnit vztah mezi ním a žákem. Detailnější pohled na osobnost učitele je uskutečněn v třetí kapitole, kde jsou zmíněny i nejznámější typologie učitele. V této kapitole je také zdůrazněna nezbytnost typologie. Popis inspirativního učitele a rysů kvalitního/efektivního učitele je uveden v kapitole čtvrté. V poslední kapitole teoretické části jsou popsány metodologické postupy, které byly využity při tvorbě analýz (praktická část). Za teoretickou částí následuje část praktická, ve které se zaměřuji na inspirativního učitele nejen v literárních textech, ale také ve filmech. Jsou zde posuzovány jeho psychické rysy a role, které naplňuje, ale také znaky odkazující k tomu, proč je konkrétní učitel označován za inspirativního. Cílem této teoreticko-analytické bakalářské práce je na základě zmíněných poznatků v teoretickém úseku, analyzovat kvality (psychologická analýza, role učitele, znaky inspirativního učitele) učitelů v předem vybraných literárních a filmových dílech a vytvořit databanku vzorů inspirativních učitelů, která v budoucnu může sloužit jako inspirace pro pedagogy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on an inspiring teacher in literature and media. It consists of theoretical and practical part. The first theoretical part deals with the figure of teacher and his/her roles and competences. It mainly explores the change of roles and the importance of demarcation of competences. The second chapter is focused on the personality of a teacher and how his personality can ifluence his relationship with a student. More detailed look on the personality of a teacher is implemented in the third chapter, where the most important typology of teacher is mentioned. The description of an inspiring teacher and features of quality/effective teacher is listed in the fourth chapter. The methodological procedures, which were used while making the analysis (practical) part), are described in the last chapter of the theoretical part. Theoretical part is followed by the practical one, in which i focused not only on an inspiring teacher in literature but also in films. His mental features and roles, which he/she fulfills but also signs reffering to why a particular teacher is described as inspiring are judged here. The aim of this theoretical-analytical bachelor thesis is based on these findings in theoretical section, analyze the quality (psychological analysis, roles of teacher, features of inspiring teacher) of a teacher in pre-selected literary and cinematographic works and create a database of models of inspiring teachers which in future may serve as an inspiration for teachers.
