Abstract:
Vírská přehrada je zdrojem pitné vody pro statutární město Brno a další města a obce v Jihomoravském kraji a také v kraji Vysočina. V této práci je obecně geograficky charakterizováno povodí Svratky nad přehradní hrází této nádrže, pozornost je věnována krajinnému pokryvu a erozním procesům v povodí. Vír Reservoir is a source of drinking water for the Statutory City of Brno and for other towns and willages in the South Moravian Region and also in the Vysočina Region. This thesis includes geographical characteristics of the Svratka river basin above the Vír Dam, there is also desribed land cover and soil erosion in this river basin.
