Social work with clients with chronic alcohol dependence

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a analyzovat metody sociální práce s klienty s duševním onemocněním způsobeným alkoholem s následným přenosem dobré praxe. V teoretické části jsou ve třech kapitolách vymezeny základní pojmy týkající se alkoholu, příčin, vzniku a důsledků závislosti na alkoholu. Dále popisují duševní onemocnění způsobeném alkoholem, komunikaci, metody, přístup a péči o osoby s duševním onemocněním způsobeným alkoholem. Aplikační část má za cíl analyzovat metody sociální práce při individuálním plánování klientů v DZR Pržno, a zjistit, zda je podpora klientů při individuálním plánování zaměřena na jejich samostatnost a soběstačnost s ohledem na probíhající transformaci. Bakalářská práce je zpracována jako analýza problému z praxe, provedená komparací individuálních plánů v době před a v průběhu transformace klientky pobytového zařízení DZR Pržno. Jako hlavní technika byla použita obsahová analýza dokumentů a k jejímu doplnění slouží kazuistika dané klientky. Doplňkovou technikou je expertní rozhovor se sociální pracovnicí téhož zařízení.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe and analyze methods of social work with clients with mental illness caused by alcohol, followed by the transfer of good practice. In the theoretical part, three chapters define the basic concepts related to alcohol, the causes, origins and consequences of alcohol dependence. They also describe alcohol-related mental illness, communication, methods, attitudes and care for people with alcohol-related mental illness.The application part aims to analyze the methods of social work in individual planning of clients in DZR Pržno, and whether the support of clients in individual planning is focused on their independence and self-sufficiency with respect to the ongoing transformation. The application part aims to analyze the methods of social work in individual planning of clients in DZR Pržno, and to find out whether the support of clients in individual planning is focused on their independence and self-sufficiency with respect to the ongoing transformation. The bachelor's thesis is processed as an analysis of the problem from practice, performed by comparing individual plans in the period before and during the transformation of the client of the residential facility DZR Pržno. The content analysis of documents was used as the main technique, and the case study of the given client serves to supplement it. An additional technique is an expert interview with a social worker of the same facility.
