Abstract:

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of idioms in the German language. The theoretical part is dedicated to the characteristics of idioms. It describes the criteria that can be used to identify an idiom in a text. Subsequently the problems that arise in the process of idiomatic translation are presented. The practical part consists of an analysis of idioms from the magazine Plus (Magazine of German-Czech Business) from 2018. It is presented how the idioms can be stylistically assigned and which differences occur between the German and the Czech idioms. Most of the idioms were found in the Interview section. Abstract:

Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit dem Thema Phraseologismen in der deutschen Sprache. Der theoretische Teil widmet sich den Merkmalen der Phraseologismen. Es wird beschrieben, nach welchen Kriterien sich ein Phraseologismus im Text identifizieren lässt. Nachfolgend werden in diesem Teil Probleme, die bei der Übersetzung von Phraseologismen entstehen, dargestellt. In dem praktischen Teil werden die Phraseologismen aus dem Magazin Plus (Magazin der deutsch-tschechischen Wirtschaft) aus dem Jahr 2018 analysiert. Es wird dargestellt, wie die Phraseologismen stilistisch zuzuordnen sind, und welche Unterschiede zwischen den deutschen und den tschechischen Phraseologismen vorkommen. Die meisten Phraseologismen wurden in der Rubrik Interview gefunden. Am häufigsten hat sich der Phraseologismus eine Rolle spielen wiederholt.
