The issue of roots yield production and sugar beet quality of growers in South and Central Moravia

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Problematika tvorby výnosu bulev a kvality cukrovky pěstite-lů jižní a střední Moravy“ se zabývá vlivy jednotlivých faktorů, které mohou působit na kvalitu a výnos cukrové řepy. Data poskytla společnost Moravskoslezské cukrovary, s.r.o. Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. Bylo vyhodnoceno 10 po sobě jdoucích vegetačních ročníků, a to r. 2012 až 2021. Pozorování bylo zaměřeno na tzv. předkampaňové vzor-kování na vybraných lokalitách, které je prováděno každoročně v období od 31. do 37. týdne v roce. Průběžně byla stanovena hmotnost bulev, chrástu, cukernatost, obsah roz-pustného popela. Byl vypočítán poměr mezi hmotností bulev a chrástu, výnos bulev z hektaru a produkce polarizačního cukru z hektaru. Z výsledků je patrné, že význam-nými faktory, ovlivňujícími sledované parametry, jsou průběh povětrnosti, zdravotní stav porostu, agrotechnika a výživa cukrovky.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis on the topic "Problems of the formation of the yield and quality of sugar beet in the South and Central Moravia" deals with the effects of individual factors that can affect the quality and yield of sugar beet. Data provided by Moravskoslezské cukrovary, s.r.o. Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. Ten consecutive growing seasons were evaluated, from 2012 to 2021. The observations were focused on the socalled precam-paign sampling at selected locations, which is carried out annually between the 31st and 37th week of the year. Root weight, leaves weight, sugar content, soluble ash content was continuously determined. The ratio between the weight of the roots and the leaves, the yield of roots per hectare and the production of polarising sugar per hectare were calculated. The results show that the significant factors influencing the parameters under study are the course of weather, the health of the crop, agrotechnics and sugar beet nu-trition.
