ABSTRACT Subject matter of this Diploma thesis is: Romanticism in the Novels of Victor Hugo. In theoretical part of this work, we describe Romanticism, influences of English Novels and we talk about Victor Hugo?s life. Le th?me de notre mémoire du maîtrise est : ? Le romantisme des romans de Victor Hugo ?. Dans la partie théorétique nous décrivons le romantisme, son influence du roman historique anglais et la vie de Victor Hugo.
