Flora and vegetation of fishponds in the Mariánské Lázně region

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci jsem zjišťovala, které druhy cévnatých rostlin a typy vegetace se vyskytují v rybnících a jejich bezprostředním okolí v oblasti mezi Planou a Mariánskými Lázněmi a jestli rozdílný management ovlivňuje rostlinnou skladbu. Terénní průzkum probíhal v červenci 2018 na dvaceti předem vybraných rybnících o různých velikostech, typech hospodaření a s rozdílnou polohou a typem okolní krajiny. Na zkoumaných rybnících jsem zaznamenala všechny cévnaté rostliny, a to odděleně pro jednotlivé rybniční biotopy (volná voda, rákosina, hráz aj.). Výskyt taxonomicky kritických nebo obtížně určitelných taxonů jsem doložila herbářovými sběry, které jsou uloženy v herbáři BRNU. Celkem jsem nalezla 209 druhů cévnatých rostlin, z toho je 27 druhů řazeno mezi vzácné nebo ohrožené dle Červeného seznamu České republiky. Identifikovala jsem také pět invazních druhů. V rámci studia rostlinných společenstev rybníků jsem zaznamenala 70 fytocelogických snímků různých typů vegetace. Fytocenologické snímky jsem digitalizovala pomocí programu Turboveg a analyzovala v programu JUICE s pomocí expertního systému. Snímky se přiřadily ke 23 asociacím v šesti třídách, a to Lemnetea, Potametea, Charetea, Isoëto-Nano-Juncetea, Bidentetea tripartitae a Phragmito-Magno-Caricetea. Floristická data jsem analyzovala v programu R Studio. Pomocí db-RDA jsem testovala vliv typu rybníka a rybničního biotopu na druhové složení rybniční flóry. Použitý ordinační model vysvětlil celkem 43,8 % variability v druhovém složení. Ordinační diagramy ukázaly, že druhové složení se liší jak pro jednotlivé rybniční biotopy, tak i pro různé typy rybníků. Typickými druhy na násadových výtažnících byly dle výsledků analýz např. Utricularia australis a Glyceria fluitans, na hlavních rybnících Phalaris arundinacea a Ranunculus sceleratus a na plůdkových rybnících Artemisia vulgaris a Plantago major. Měření abiotických faktorů ukázalo vyšší pH u hlavních rybníků v porovnání s dvěma zbylými typy, což patrně souvisí s vyšší intezitou hospodaření na hlavních rybnících. Vztah konduktivity a typu rybníka nebyl jednoznačný.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I studied which species and vegetation types grow in fishponds and their closed surroundings in area between Planá and Mariánské Lázně and if their different management influences plant species composition. Field work took place in July 2018 on twenty pre-selected fishponds of different sizes, management types, locations and types of surrounding landscape. On the studied fishponds I recorded all vascular plant species separately for each of particular fishpond habitats (free water, reed beds, dam etc.). The occurence of taxonomically critical or difficult to identify species I documented by herbarium specimens stored in herbarium BRNU. I found alltogether 209 vascular plant species which included 27 rare ot threatened species according to Red data list of the Czech Republic. I have also identified five invasive plant species. In framework of study of fishpond plant communities, I recorded 70 phytosociological relevés of different types of vegetation. These relevés I digitalized with Turboveg and then analyzed in JUICE with the help of expert system. The relevés were classified into 23 associations within six classes: Lemnetea, Potametea, Charetea, Isoëto-Nano-Juncetea, Bidentetea tripartitae and Phragmito-Magno-Caricetea. Floristical data I analyzed in program R studio. With the help of db-RDA I tested impact of fishpond type and fishpond habitat on species composition of fishpond flora. The model used explained altogether 43.8 % of variability in species composition. Ordination diagrams have shown that species composition varies among particular fishpond habitat types as well as among fishpond types. According to the results of the analyses, typical species of on-growing fishponds were e.g. Utricularia australis and Glyceria fluitans, of main fishponds e.g. Phalaris arundinacea and Ranunculus sceleratus, and of nursery fishponds e.g. Artemisia vulgaris and Plantago major. Measurements of abiotic factors have shown higher pH in main fishponds compared to the two remaining fishpond types, probably related to higher management intensity in main fishponds. The relationship between conductivity and type of fishpond was not explicit.
