This bachelor’s thesis deals with the life and work of the contemporary Berlin author Judith Hermann. The main part of the thesis is dedicated to the three collections of stories Summerhouse, later, Nothing but Ghosts and Alice. On the example of concrete stories, I try to characterize personality traits of the female characters and find out how their characters evolved during these three collections …more

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce pojednává o životě a díle současné berlínské spisovatelky Judith Hermann. Hlavní část práce je věnována třem povídkovým sbírkám, které tato autorka dosud vydala – jedná se o knihy Letní dům, později, Nic než přízraky a Alice.
