Jon Schmidt s Classical New Age Music and the Effects of its Reception
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce má dvě části. Teoretická část práce je věnována hudebnímu stylu New Age, jeho základním znakům, vývoji, klasifikaci,světovým a českým představitelům. Praktická část se zabývá hudební tvorbou Jona Schmidta, amerického představitele Classical New Age Music. Cílem práce je zhodnocení receptivních účinků skladeb Jona Schmidta.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part is focused on New Age Music, its characteristics, progress, classification,world and Czech musicians. The second practical part deals with the music of Jon Schmidt, U.S. Classical New Age composer. The aim of the work is to evaluate receptive influence of his music.
