Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o Kroftově kvartetu, souboru,jenž působil v letech 1974 - 1994 a dokázal propojit orchestrální činnost v Českéfilharmonii s činností kvartetní. Součástí práce jsou základní informace o Kroftovukvartetu, životopisy jednotlivých členů, koncertní činnost, zaměření na méhodědečka Jana Marka (violisty kvarteta) a zajímavosti ohledně členství ve Svazuumělců.
