Práce se zabývá sportovní tématikou, konkrétně genderovými problémy ve sportu. Úvodní kapitoly nabízí pohled na sport z hlediska sociologie a jeho významu v životě žen. Práce shrnuje informace o historii postupného vývoje ženského začleňování do sportu od starověkého Řecka až po současnost. Zároveň poskytuje pohled na současný stav ženského sportu a jeho problémy. The paper deals with sports themes, concretely with gender issues in the sociology of sport. The introductory chapters suggest an insight into the area of sport in term of sociology and its significance in life of women.
