Adaptation of Chinese students in a foreign environment

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bude prozkoumat spokojenost čínských studentů v České republice. V plánované korelační studii bude hledán vztah mezi spokojeností, adaptabilitou a kulturní inteligencí. Zároveň bude vytvořen model spokojenosti čínských studentů v České republice s využitím tzv. metody AHP (analytický hierarchický proces). Pozornost bude věnována především subjektivní prioritizaci vlivů určujících spokojenost cizinců v kulturně odlišném prostředí. Předpokládám, že výsledky budou dobře zobecnitelné pro pracovní prostředí, resp. zaměstnance, kteří pracují v zahraničí či kulturně odlišném prostředí.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis will be to examine the satisfaction of Chinese students in the Czech Republic. In the planned correlation study will be looked for the relationship between satisfaction, adaptability and cultural intelligence. At the same time, a model of Chinese students' satisfaction in the Czech Republic will be created by using the so-called AHP method (Analytic Hierarchy Process). Attention will be paid mainly to the subjective prioritization of influences determining the satisfaction of foreigners in a culturally different environment. I assume that the results will be well generalizable for the work environment, more precisely, for employees who work abroad or in a culturally different environment.
