Anotácia:

Obsahem této bakalářské práce je detailní srovnání pěti hlavních pramenů o životě Alexandra Velikého a jeho tažení proti Perské říši. Práce zahrnuje analýzu tradic, které se v těchto pramenech vyskytují, a způsobu, jakým pracují s postavou Alexandra a jeho veliteli. Hlavní pozornost je věnována postavě Parmenióna a tomu, jak ho jednotliví autoři vnímají. Práce dále zkoumá, jak jsou v textech reflektována různá historická období a jakou roli hraje propaganda.

Abstract:

The content of this bachelor's thesis is a detailed comparison of the five main sources on the life of Alexander the Great and his campaign against the Persian Empire. The thesis includes an analysis of the traditions present in these sources and the ways they portray Alexander and his commanders. The primary focus is on the figure of Parmenion and how each author perceives him. The work also examines how different historical periods are reflected in the texts and the role of propaganda.
