Fejeton patří mezi žurnalistické žánry, avšak dále v rámci žurnalistiky je řazen mezi beletristické žánry, které mají za úkol dát žurnalistice určitou estetickou (uměleckou) hodnotu. Fejetony dnes mohou čtenáři najít hlavně na stránkách literárních novin a poslední dobou své fejetony vydávají autoři knižně. Abstract:
Feuilleton belongs to journalism genres, especially to fictitious genres, which give to journalism aesthetic value. Czech feuilletonists are (and were in past, too) mainly writers. In these days we can find feuilletons on pages in newspapers, especially literary newspapers and a lot of feuilletons are published in books.
