Evaluation of treatment results of patients treated with curative radiotherapy for cervical cancer

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vyhodnocení výsledků kurativní léčby pro nádor hrdla děložního. Tato práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část a praktickou část. V první části je popsána anatomie pohlavních orgánů u ženy, patologie, klinická klasifikace nádorů, prognostické faktory, epidemiologie, etiologie a diagnostika. Značná část práce je věnována možnostem léčby. Teoretická část obsahuje také informace o prevenci, nežádoucích účincích léčby, životu po léčbě a případné recidivě. V praktické části jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky kurativní léčby pro nádor hrdla děložního. Ze souboru je analyzováno 76 pacientek léčených na Klinice radiační onkologie Masarykova onkologického ústavu od roku 2013 do roku 2016, pomocí tabulek a grafů. Zpracovány jsou data o akutní a chronické toxicitě, věku pacientky, klinickém stadiu, TNM klasifikaci, zevní radioterapii, histologii, gradu, brachyterapii, chemoterapii, léčebné odpovědi, progresi, místě a léčbě progrese a léčebné odpovědi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the results of curative treatment for cervical cancer. This work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The first part describes the anatomy of the genital organs in women, pathology, clinical classification of the tumor, prognostic factors, epidemiology, etiology and diagnosis. Much of the work is devoted to treatment options. The theoretical part also contains information on prevention, side effects of treatment, life after treatment and possible recurrence. The practical part evaluates the results of curative treatment for cervical cancer. The sample analyzes 76 patients treated at the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute from 2013 to 2016, using tables and graphs. Data on acute and chronic toxicity, patient age, clinical stage, TNM classification, external beam radiotherapy, histology, grade, brachytherapy, chemotherapy, treatment response, progression, location and treatment of progression and treatment response are processed.
