Ancient Mythology in the Phraseology
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on selected idiomatic phrases originating in classical antiquity. This thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part and its main goal is to briefly describe basic information pertaining to phraseology and especially to show the connection between classical mythology and the current use of phrasemes in both German and Czech.
Abstract:
Tato magisterská diplomová práce je zaměřena na vybrané frazeologismy pocházející z antické mytologie. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část a jejím hlavním cílem je stručně popsat základní informace týkající se frazeologie a především ukázat spojitost mezi antickým mýtem a současným použitím frazému jak v německém, tak i v českém jazyce.
