Optical enviroments of the eye

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor's thesis are optical enviroments of the eye, taken from the anatomical, physiological and optical perspective, also incorporating basic eye models like Gullstrand's eye model or Emsley-Graaf 's modification of the Gullstrand's eye model. The next part of this thesis is focused on describing physiological aberrations of eye's optical system as well as refraction errors, including their categorization by etiology, severity and options of correction. The final chapter deals with presbyopia, it's etiology and options of it's correction.

Abstract:

Predmetom tejto bakalárskej práce sú optické prostredia oka z hľadiska anatomického, fyziologického a optického, ako aj základné optické modely oka, napr. Gullstrandov model, alebo Emsley-Graffova modifikácia Gullstrandovho oka. V ďalšej časti práce sú popísané fyziologické vady optického systému oka a refrakčné vady spolu s ich delením podľa etiológie, ale aj závažnosti a spôsobmi ich korekcie. Ďalšia a posledná kapitola pojednáva o presbyopii, jej delení a možnostiach korekcie presbyopie.
