Kozácko. The contribution to ethnographic regionalization of Bohemia

Abstract:

Na základě odborné literatury jsme se pokusili sestavit hranice etnografického regionu v jižních Čechách, Kozácka. Základními zdroji informací nám byla odborná literatura. Nejpodrobnější informace jsme nacházeli na přelomu 19. a 20. století od regionálních badatelů (E. Fryšová, V. Petrů, F. Lego, M. Prunerová), později v souhrnných publikacích o lidovém oděvu či etnografické rajonizaci (D. Stránská, B. Šotková, J. Langrammerová, V. Frolec, I. Štěpánová, R. Jeřábek aj.). Pro porovnání s povědomím obyvatel v dnešní době jsme uskutečnili rozhovor s členkami folklorních kozáckých souborů Jihočeský folklorní soubor Kovářovan a Sdružená obec Baráčníků v Táboře. Celou práci doplňují přiložené mapy, které nám Kozácko a jeho hranice konkrétně přibližují. Bylo zjištěno, že nejpropracovanější hranice Kozácka se nachází na jihu se sousedními Blaty, na ostatních světových stranách jsme hranice určili jen obecně.

Abstract:

Kozácko is an ethnographic region in southern Bohemia. This region is situated around town which is called Tábor. Our task was try to find boundaries of this region. It wasn't easy because a lot of books weren't written about this. We chose information from technical books. Most information were in ethnographic publications or articles at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. In this time the regional researchers (E. Fryšová, F Lego, V. Petrů, M. Prunerová) wrote about the characteristic features of this region. Later these articles were patterns for the researchers which wrote about folk costume, folk house or about ethnographic religionalization in our republic. We divided these books chronological into chapters. We mark off the boundaries of Kozácko by the folk costume, then by the folk house, dialect and knowledge of people. The most describes boundary is in the south where Kozácko lives next door to Blata. At the end of this work we write about two companies which try to keep the traditions in region Kozácko. For better clearness we can find there the maps of southern Bohemia and Kozácko too.
