Social barriers by perspective of the Roma minority

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Sociální bariéry očima romské menšiny“ pojednává o vztazích mezi romskou menšinou a členy většinové společnosti, o možných důvodech vzniku bariér mezi romskou menšinou a většinovou společností v České republice, a to vše očima romské minority. V teoretické části nalezneme možné důvody vzniku výše zmiňovaných bariér mezi těmito skupinami, také obsahuje naznačené možnosti řešení, resp. informace o možnosti prevence, a také zde můžeme najít informace o romské menšině, které se týkají jak počtu, historie, tak i např. znaků. Výzkumná část obsahuje informace o kvalitativním výzkumu, analýzy posbíraných dat prostřednictvím rozhovorů se členy romské minority a v podstatě obraz společnosti očima romské minority.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis " Social barriers by perspective of the Roma minority" deals with the relations between the Roma minority and majority members of society, about the possible causes of the barriers between the Roma minority and the majority of companies in the Czech Republic, and this all is by perspective of the Roma minority. In the theoretical part we can find possible reasons for the barriers between these groups, also contains some possibilities of solution, I mean information about prevention, and also here you can find information about the Roma minority, which relate to the number, history, and characters. The research section contains information about the qualitative research, analysis of collected data through interviews with members of the Roma minority and basically there is a picture of society by perspective of the Roma minority.
