Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na ediční zpracování teplické kroniky sepsané Martinem Herrklotzem a zachycuje období let 1586 až 1590, s několika zápisy týkajících se roku 1591. Je uložena ve státním okresním archivu v Teplicích, fond Archiv města Teplice, inventární číslo 439, kniha č. 438. Celá kronika je psána v německém jazyce. Cílem edice je zpřístupnit prostřednictvím přepisu pramen veřejnosti. Součástí edice jsou poznámky pod čarou, kde jsou odkazy na literaturu, a jsou díky nim vysvětleny události a blíže specifikované osobnosti. Poznámky pod čarou navazují na rejstřík, který umožňuje lepší orientaci v textu. Další součástí edice jsou vysvětlivky, které na konci textu blíže specifikují zkomolená nebo špatně srozumitelná slova. Část práce je věnovaná historii Čech a Teplic a porovnání událostí, které zachycuje kronika v kontextu dobově sociálním. Další částí práce je porovnání kroniky v kontextu dobového kronikářství s jinými dobovými prameny. Toto zhodnocení poukazuje na to, v čem se rukopis liší a v čem se naopak s ostatními prameny shoduje. Na základě zjištěných informací je odhadován význam rukopisu.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the editing process of the Teplice´s chronicle written by Martin Herrklotz and reflects the period from 1586 to 1590, with several entries relating to the years 1591. Stored in the State District Archive in Teplice, fond City Archive Teplice, inventory number 439, paper no. 438. The whole chronicle is written in German language. The aim of the series is to make the source available to the public via the transcript. Footnotes are part of the edition, they include literature references. Thanks to them the events are explained and figures are specified in more details. The footnotes are linked to the register, which allows better orientation in the text. Explanatory notes at the end of text are another part of the edition, they specify garbled or slurred speech. Part of the thesis is devoted to the history of Bohemia and Teplice and to comparison of events which are captured within the contemporary social context. Another part of the study is comparing the chronicle within the context of contemporary chronicle writing with other contemporary sources. This assessment points out the differences and similarities in between the manuscript and other sources. The significance of the manuscript is evaluated on the basis of obtained information.
