Abstract:
Tématem bakalářské práce je Americký klub dam. Tento klub začal jako jeden z prvních výrazněji prosazovat téma ženské otázky, sílící touhu žen po vzdělání a prosazení se v české společnosti. Cílem bakalářské práce tak bude zachytit vznik, formování a vývoj tohoto spolku skrze jeho činnost a fungování od poloviny šedesátých let 19. století do počátku 20. století. Abstract:
Title of this bachelor thesis is American Ladies Club. It was one of the first female clubs in Czech lands. Club was formed in 1865 in Praque out of the initiative Vojte Náprstek. He was a Czech philanthropist, politician and patriot. American Ladies Club held its first meetings in "U Halánků". The club was established with the aim to educte young ladies and women.
