Exploring the social climate as a determinant of company performance

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním sociálního klimatu firmy jako faktoru podmiňujícího výkonnost firmy. Práce je rozčleněna do čtyř hlavní kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá charakteristikou vybrané společnosti a definováním jejích strategických cílů. Následně je v práci rozebrán pojem sociální klima a na základě těchto teoretických předpokladů je proveden průzkum sociálního klimatu v podniku pomocí dotazníku rozčleněného do pěti oblastí - komunikace, vedení lidí, mezilidské vztahy, řízení pracovního výkonu a odměňování. Z provedeného průzkumu jsou blíže specifikovány a shrnuty stimulační faktory podniku. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá projektem, který je navržen tak, aby prostřednictvím zlepšování sociálního klimatu byly podpořeny výkonnostní strategické cíle. Při zpracovávání diplomové práce bylo využíváno domácí i zahraniční literatury, internetových článků a zahraničních výzkumů dostupných na internetu. Získaná data byly zpracovány pomocí programu MS Excel a transformována do podoby grafů.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deal with social climate within company as a factor of company performance. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter deals with the characteristics of the company and defining its strategic goals. Subsequently, in the thesis is analyzed the concept of social climate and on the basis of these theoretical assumptions is effected a survey of the social climate in the company through a questionnaire, which is sectioned into five areas ? communication, leadership, interpersonal relations, performance management and remuneration. From the survey are specified and summarized stimulating factors of company. The fourth chapter deals with the project, which is suggested so that the means of improving the social climate were supported by strategic performance goals. By the processing the thesis was used domestic and foreign literature, web articles and foreign research available on the internet. The data were processed by using MS Excel and transformed into graphs.
