Abstract:

Diplomová práce “ Orchestrální předehry Ludwiga van Beethovena” pojednává o všech mistrových orchestrálních předehrách s důrazem na dvě z nich, které jsem měl příležitost dirigovat: Král Štěpán Op. 117 a předehra ke Goethově truchlohře, Egmont Op. 84. Po stručném úvodu o životě a díle L. v. Beethovena následuje rozbor všech orchestrálních předeher. V rámci každé předehry jsou okrajově zmíněny historické souvislosti. U většiny předeher jsou na konci odkazy na zajímavá provedení a nahrávky, které mě osobně inspirují. Na závěr této práce je uvedeno shrnutí a zdůraznění mistrova významu a přínosu ve vývoji klasické evropské hudby.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis „Orchestral overtures by Ludwig van Beethoven“ deals with all Beethoven‘s orchestral overtures placing emphasis on two of them I had the opportunity to conduct. The King Stephen Op. 117 and The Egmont Op. 84, the overture of Goethe’s tragedy. After a short introduction of Beethoven’s life and work, follows an analysis of all his orchestral overtures. Within each overture there is a peripheral reference to historical connections. For the most of the overtures there are introductions of interesting performs and recordings which inspired me. In conclusion of my work, there is summarization and emphasizing of Beethoven’s importance and contribution to classical European music.
