Abstract:

V této bakalářské diplomové práci se budu soustředit na vývoj videoartu od 60. do 90. let minulého století a pokusím se nastínit vývoj prezentace a instalace videoartu v mezinárodním kontextu ve vybraných uměleckých galeriích a ve veřejném prostoru. Vymezíme si tedy vývoj videoartu a události spojené se vznikem tohoto umění. Zaměřím se také na TV umění, které s tímto tématem úzce souvisí. Budu sledovat vybrané umělce a pokusím se popsat prezentace jejich konkrétních uměleckých děl. Především se zaměřím na analýzu instalací umělce Nam June Paika a pokusím se o komparaci jeho uměleckých děl s jinými soudobými tvůrci. Cílem této práce bude definovat specifickou tvorbu a vývoj instalací v 60. – 90. letech minulého století.

Abstract:

In this bachalor thesis I will focus on development of video art from the 60s to 90s of the last century and I will try to outline the development of presentation and installation of video art in the international context in selected art galleries and public spaces. So we will define the development of video art and events associated with the origins of this art. I also focus on TV art that this topic is closely related. I will follow the artists and try to describe the presentation of their specific art works. Above all, I will focus on analysis of the Nam June Paik´s installations and try to make a comparison of his art works with other contemporary artists. The aim of this work is to define a specific creations and development of installations in the 60s to 90s of the last century.
