Control system for electric kiln heating

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na možnosti regulace teploty a technické řešení regulátoru teploty vysokoteplotní tavné pece. Cílem práce je návrh systému umožňující nastavit různé teplotní profily, návrh vhodného algoritmu a následná realizace tohoto regulátoru. Hlavními body práce je teoretické zpracování informací o této problematice, jako jsou regulační systémy, senzory teploty a způsoby ohřevu. Dalším bodem je navrhnutí regulačního systému, výběr vhodného regulátoru a jeho realizace. Pro realizaci řídicího systému byl použit mikroprocesor STM32F407VTG6 od firmy STMicroelectronics. V práci je dále uveden kompletní hardwarový návrh a ukázky důležitých částí programu pro mikroprocesor.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis is focused on possibilities of temperature regulation and technical solutions of a temperature controller for high-temperature electric furnace. The goals of the thesis were to design a system enabling to set various temperature profiles, to design an appropriate algorithm and realization of the controller. The first point of the work is theoretical information processing about the issues such as control systems, temperature sensors and heating methods. Other points are to propose a regulatory system, the selection of a suitable controller and its implementation. For the realization of the control system was used microprocessor STM32F407VTG6 by STMicroelectronics Company. This thesis is divided into parts with each part focusing on the particular topic. The first chapter "Introduction" sets goals of this thesis. The second chapter "Electric-heating devices" outlines the theoretical elaboration of problems such as control systems, temperature sensors and heating methods. The third chapter entitled "Technical solution" deals with the major components and controller design. The fourth chapter entitled "Software solution" shows and explains the program for the microcontroller. The fifth chapter entitled "Profile settings" shows and explains the settings temperature profiles for heating electric furnace. The sixth chapter provides evaluation of the entire work.
