Possibilities for in-filling missing data of selected meteorological characteristic for meteorological station of Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology.

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo doplnění časové řady měsíčních srážkových úhrnů meteorologické stanice Katedry fyzické geografie a geoekologie Ostravské univerzity. Délka zkoumaného období byla 10 let (2007 - 2016). Pro složitější analýzy byl využíván software AnClim ve volně dostupné verzi. Naplnění cíle předcházely dílčí kroky, jako analýza časové řady a tvorba referenční řady. Referenční řada byla vytvořena z dat dostupných stanic v okolí. Chybějící hodnoty byly doplněny z průměrných hodnot mezi testovanou a referenční řadou. Po doplnění byla prováděna kontrola kvality a homogenizace. Při homogenizaci byly využity testy relativní homogenity - Alexanderssonův test (SNHT) a test Vincentové. Poslední částí této práce byla analýza kompletní časové řady a její porovnání s primární řadou.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to fill in the time series of monthly precipitation of the meteorological station of the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology at University of Ostrava. The amount of checked period has been 10 years (2007 - 2016). The software AnClim was used for more difficult kind of analysis, in free version. Partial tasks had to be fulfilled beforehand in order to secure the final result e.g. the analysis of the amount checked and the creation of the reference series. The reference series has been based on datas obtained from neighbouring stations. Missing values were taken from the avarage values of candidate and reference stations. After the missing values were added, the quality control and the homogenization was done. Throughout the process of homogenization the further tests of relative homogeneity were done - i.e. the test of Alexandersson (SNHT) and the test of Vincent. The last part of this thesis focuses on the analysis of complete time series and its comparison with the primary series.
