The development of graphomotor skills of chidren with autism

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca "Rozvoj grafomotoriky u žiakov s autizmom" je zameraná na skúmanie vplyvu poruchy autistického spektra na rozvoj a úroveň grafomotorickej oblasti u žiakov s autizmom. Hlavným cieľom práce je poukázať na prínos navrhnutého tréningového programu pre rozvoj grafomotoriky u žiakov s PAS a priblížiť možnosti vzdelávania týchto výnimočných detí, ktoré chápu a vnímajú svet okolo nás iným spôsobom ako intaktná populácia. Teoretická časť vysvetľuje pojmy autistického spektra, ich klasifikáciu a vymedzenie problémových oblastí. Ďalej sa zaoberá motorickým vývojom žiakov s PAS, špecifikami v oblasti motorického a grafomotorického vývoja. Praktická časť uvádza možnosti rozvoja grafomotoriky, pomôcky potrebné pre nácvik, konkrétne metódy, ktoré by mohli byť využívané pri voľbe optimálneho edukačného prístupu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Development of graphomotor skills in children with autism" is focused on investigating the influence of autism spectrum disorder on the development and level of graphomotor skills in students with autism. The main aim of this work is to point out the contribution of the proposed training program for the development of graphomotor skills in students with ASD and to approach the educational opportunities of these exceptional children who understand and perceive the world around us in a different way than the intact population. The theoretical part explains the concepts of the autism spectrum, their classification and definition of problem areas. Furthermore, it deals with motor development of students with ASD, specifics in the field of motor and graphomotor development. The practical part presents the possibilities of developing graphomotor skills, tools needed for training, specific methods that could be used in selection of the optimal educational approach.
