Nursing Proces in the Care of a Child with Bronchitis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na ošetřovatelskou péči u dítěte s bronchitidou. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních kapitol. První kapitola nám popisuje problematiku bronchitidy, definici, epidemiologii, patofyziologii, klinické projevy, diagnostiku, možnosti léčby a komplikace, které mohou nastat v průběhu onemocnění. Druhá kapitola přináší informace a specifika o ošetřovatelské péče dětské sestry v rámci bronchitidy u dětí a dále edukaci a komunikaci s dětským pacientem v rámci hospitalizace na dětském oddělení. Praktická část je zaměřená na vytvoření ošetřovatelského procesu u konkrétního dětského pacienta s bronchitidou. Pro vytvoření ošetřovatelského procesu byl vybrán čtyřletý pacient s akutní bronchitidou a s klinickými příznaky. Byl popsán průběh jeho hospitalizace od přijmu do třetího dne jeho hospitalizace na jednotce intenzivní péče. V práci jsou stanoveny ošetřovatelské diagnózy v den přijetí pacienta na dětské jednotce intenzivní péče dle NANDA International taxonomie II. Na základě vybraných diagnóz byly stanoveny ošetřovatelské cíle a intervence, byla popsána realizace a zhodnocení předem stanovených ošetřovatelských cílů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on nursing care of a child with bronchitis. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is divided into two main chapters. The first chapter describes the problems of bronchitis, definition, epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment options and complications that may occur during the course of the disease. The second chapter provides information and specifics about pediatric nursing care for bronchitis in children, as well as education and communication with the pediatric patient during hospitalization in the pediatric ward. The practical section focuses on creating a nursing process for a specific pediatric patient with bronchitis. A four-year-old patient with acute bronchitis and clinical symptoms was selected to create a nursing process. The course of his hospitalization from admission to the third day of his admission to the intensive care unit was described. Nursing diagnoses on the day of admission to the paediatric intensive care unit according to NANDA International taxonomy II are presented. Based on the selected diagnoses, nursing goals and interventions were established, and the implementation and evaluation of the predetermined nursing goals were described.
