Sociospatial structure of Liberec

Abstract:

Práce si klade za cíl podat základní informaci o sociáln-prostorové struktue msta Liberce založenou na sociáln-ekologické analýze dat ze sítání 2001 za urbanistické obvody. Pehled o výskytu sledovaných sociálních jev podávají jednodimenzionální ekologické mapy zobrazující intenzitu každého jevu rozdlenou do ptistupového tídního intervalu. Souasn práce využívá vícedimenzionálních statistických technik (faktorové a clusterové analýzy) k nalezení hlavních dimenzí sociáln-prostorové diferenciace mstského prostoru a vytvoení typologie rezidenních oblastí msta. Na základ výsledk faktorové analýzy byly jako hlavní dimenze stojící za diferenciací mstského prostoru nalezeny vysoký sociáln ekonomický status, rodinné domy a auta a mladá generace, které stály za 66,07 % celkové sociáln-prostorové diferenciace. Na základ vybraných promnných byla následn vytvoena typologie rezidenních oblastí msta. Pi snaze o její zaazení k nkteré z obecnjších typologií se ukázalo, že sociáln-prostorová struktura rozmístní libereckého obyvatelstva pln neodpovídá žádnému modelu, nicmén na ni lze uplatnit dílí aspekty Whiteova modelu msta 21. století, pípadn Hoytovy sektorové teorie. Na závr je konstatováno, že potencionální posilování sociáln ekonomického faktoru jako nejdležitjšího zdroje diferenciace mstského prostoru by v budoucnu mohlo pispt k zesílení strukturálního a prostorového oddlení jednotlivých tvrtí a narstání zdí mezi nimi.

Abstract:

This study offers basic information about sociospatial structure of Liberec based on social ecological analysis census data 2001 per census districts. A view about presence of the social phenomenons is given by the one-dimensional ecological maps, which are showing the intensity of each phenomenon divided into a five-step class interval. In the same time the study is using the multidimensional statistic technics (factor and cluster analysis) to find the main dimensions of the sociospatial differentiation of the city space and to create a typology of the residential city parts. Factorial analysis found as the main dimensions standing behind the differentiation of the urban space: high social economical status, family houses and cars and young generation, which stood behind 66,07 % of the whole sociospatial differentiation. On account of the chosen variables the typology of the residential city parts was created. Trying to class it to some of the more common typologies it came out, that the sociospatial structure of Liberec inhabitants dislocation mismatches wtih any model. However, the fragmental aspects of the Whites model of the 21st century city can be put on it, as well as the Hoyts sector theory. At the end we can express, that the potential strengthening of the social economic factor as the most important source of the diferentiation of the urban space can contribute to the strengthening of the structural and spatial dividing of the city parts and increasing walling among them.
