Abstract:

Praktická bakalářská práce je podložena teoretickým vhledem do problematiky smrti. Pro vytvoření obrazové série bylo potřeba zabývat se chápáním smrti v komplexním rozsahu s použitím vhodné literatury, která definuje rozdíly v přístupu ke smrti a umírání v dobách dřívějších a dnešních. Tím je implicitně odkrývána povaha současné společnosti a její problematický přístup ke smrti. Práce se vztahuje k tématům smrti ve výtvarném umění. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je série obrazů, ve které se ironicky dotýkám malířských formulací současného českého umělce Josefa Bolfa (1971). Záměrem bakalářské práce nebylo zabývat se smrtí jako katastrofickým koncem života, ale koncipovat ji v rámci malby s humorným a odlehčujícím přístupem.

Abstract:

Practical bachelor thesis is supported with theoretical insight into the problematic of death. It was necessary for the creation of the series of pictures to deal with the understanding of death in complex scale with the help of suitable literature which defines differences in approaches to death and dying in the early and present times. By this is implicitly uncovered the nature of current society and its problematic approach to death. The final work is related to themes of death in art. The output of the bachelor thesis is series of pictures, in which I am ironically aiming at painting formulations of contemporary artist Josef Bolf (1971). The aim of the bachelor thesis was not to deal with death as a catastrophic end of life but to draft it to the scale of panting with humorous and relieving approach.
