The cycle of the human landscape

Abstract:

Diorama a iluze v nových médiích se zaměřuje na výskyt uvedených témat u umělců v současné době a jak s nimi pracují. Stejně tak se probírá bohatá historie dioramy a její široký společenský význam, jejíž rozsah si bez hlubšího prozkoumání neuvědomujeme. Iluze je součástí mé práce a tam kde je diorama konstruktem v realitě, je iluze konstrukcí (nejen) digitálního rázu. 12 upravených kolážových fotografií a 12 fotografií dioram tvoří knihu Naše světy, která je produktem zkoumání fotografie a jejích hranic. Zachycená je zejména příroda, která je zobrazena v cyklu 4 ročních období a práce tak ironicky až absurdní mírou reflektuje naše skutečné i neskutečné životy.

Abstract:

Diorama and Illusion in New Media focuses on the occurrence of these themes in artists today and how they work with them. Work also includes unexpected rich history of the diorama and its broad social significanc. Most likely we don't understand the full extent of diorama without deeper investigation. Illusion is a part of my work and where the diorama is a construction (not only) in reality, the illusion is a construction of (not only) digital character. 12 edited collage photos and 12 diorama photos make up the book Our Worlds, which is the product of an exploration of photography and its boundaries. In particular, nature is captured, which is depicted in the cycle of 4 seasons, and the work reflects our real and unreal lives to such an ironic and absurd degree.
